BORING GOLF IS DEAD MONTHLY HIGH SCORE CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR SCORE OR YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. THIS IS A GAME OF SKILL. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Agreement
These official rules (the "Official Rules") govern the Boring Golf Is Dead Monthly High Score Contest (the "Contest") sponsored by Pins And Aces, 5545 West 56th Ave. Unit F, Arvada, CO 80002 (the "Sponsor"). By playing the game and submitting a score, you agree to these Official Rules and to the Sponsor's decisions, which are final on all matters related to the Contest.
2. Contest Periods
The Contest runs in monthly periods (each, a "Contest Period"). Each Contest Period begins at 12:00:00 AM Mountain Time ("MT") on the first day of a calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 PM MT on the last day of that month. The first Contest Period begins when the game is published at https://pinsandaces.com/pages/boring-golf-is-dead and ends at 11:59:59 PM MT on the last day of that month. The Contest continues month to month until the Sponsor ends it by posting notice on that page. The Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.
3. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, its agencies and contractors involved in the Contest, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
Visit https://pinsandaces.com/pages/boring-golf-is-dead and play the Boring Golf Is Dead game. The game is free to play. To enter a score, enter a leaderboard name and a valid email address in the game form and submit it before or at the end of your run. Each run you submit is an entry. There is no limit on the number of runs, but each person may use only one (1) email address. Only your highest valid score in a Contest Period counts. Leaderboard names must not be offensive, impersonate another person, or infringe anyone's rights; the Sponsor may remove or change any leaderboard name at its discretion.
5. Winner Selection and Verification
At the end of each Contest Period, the eligible entrant with the highest valid score recorded during that Contest Period is the potential winner. If two or more entrants tie, the score recorded first wins. All scores are subject to review. The Sponsor may disqualify any score or entrant it believes, in its sole discretion, was produced by cheating, modified software, scripts, bots, manipulation of the game or its network traffic, multiple email addresses, or any other unfair method. Scores shown on the public leaderboard are unofficial until verified. If a potential winner is disqualified, the next highest valid score is the potential winner.
6. Prize
One (1) prize is awarded per Contest Period: one (1) custom Pins & Aces golf bag. Approximate retail value ("ARV"): $350.00 USD. The Sponsor chooses the bag model and design. No cash alternative, transfer, or substitution by the winner. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one (1) prize per person per twelve (12) month period. The winner is responsible for all taxes on the prize.
7. Winner Notification
The Sponsor will email the potential winner at the address submitted with the winning score within seven (7) days after the Contest Period ends. The potential winner must reply within seven (7) days with a shipping address in the United States and may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility and release. If the potential winner does not reply in time, is ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next highest valid score. The prize ships within thirty (30) days after verification.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may use the winner's leaderboard name, first name, last initial, state, and score for promotional purposes without further compensation.
9. Discount Codes
Discount codes earned in the game are a separate promotion and are not part of the Contest. Codes are subject to the terms shown at checkout, may not be combined with other offers, and may be changed or ended by the Sponsor at any time.
10. Privacy
Information you submit is collected by the Sponsor and used to run the Contest, send your score and any earned discount code, and, only if you choose to sign up, send marketing email. See the Sponsor's Privacy Policy at https://pinsandaces.com/policies/privacy-policy.
11. General Conditions and Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries, or for technical failures of any kind, including network, browser, device, or server errors that prevent a score from being recorded. The Sponsor may cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs its integrity, and may award the prize for that Contest Period from valid scores received before the action. By entering, entrants release the Sponsor and its agents from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance or use of a prize.
12. Governing Law
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
13. Winner List
For the name of a Contest Period's winner, email the Sponsor at info@pinsandaces.com within sixty (60) days after that Contest Period ends.
